On the BBC's Andrew Marr Show, "any cabinet minister … who comes to me and says 'Here are my plans' and they involve frontline reductions', they'll be sent straight back to their department to go away and think again".

"Our plans involve cutting wasteful spending … our plans don't involve an increase in VAT."

"We will stop top-down reorganisations of the NHS,"

"we will guarantee that health spending increases in real terms"

"I wouldn't change child benefit, I wouldn't means test it, I don't think that's a good idea."

On September 7, 2011 Cameron said the Royal College of General Practitioners, the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Nursing “all supported” his health reforms. All three organisations put out statements denying the claim.

Before the election David Cameron pledged to save the maternity and A&E units at Chase Farm Hospital, London.  Both have now been downgraded!

David Cameron said there would be no rise in hospital waiting times. Last July’s figures show 34% more patients waiting longer than the 18-week guarantee.

David Cameron told MPs there were “25,000 police officers in back office jobs”. Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary said there are just 7,927 officers and PCSOs in back office roles.

 In 2007, the conservatives said they would do all they could to support Remploy when they were in government.

I will add more to this page as and when I come across further lies which, with this Government, is not going to be very hard.  In fact, this will probably develop into the largest single page in this blog with the Conservatives being so inept at lying.
